This is an interesting month for you, Virgo, with your ruler Mercury retrograding through your partnership sector. The implication I that you are re-thinking everything having to do with relationship in your life, attempting to see the deeper picture. The timing of March 5th to the 7th is excellent for getting a jump-start on this process, which could take you further into your own inner world than ever you would have thought. You may be mulling over many sides of this question, and perhaps tending to place partners on a pedestal. As you investigate your inner motivation, some degree of self-sacrifice could also be involved. Part of your current focus is on your own needs and personality. This includes interacting with the residue of early childhood trauma, still able to throw you off course in the present day. Fresh ideas are likely to emerge, with sudden bursts of insight coming your way on the 20th. You are attempting to externalize inner values by word and deed in closer alignment to your true goals.
The following was written by this month's guest columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School
The month begins with Venus in Capricorn in your fifth house of creativity making a square to Uranus in Aries in your eighth house of death and rebirth, perfecting on March 1st. This transit brings a moment of upheaval, creativity, and defiance, perhaps shaking things up in business or romantic partnerships along the way.
On March 6th, the New Moon in Pisces will conjoin Neptune while your ruling planet Mercury also turns retrograde in Pisces in your seventh house. The month ahead will therefore focus on your relationships, especially the issues of truth and trust, communication and emotional vulnerability. Be sure to keep good boundAries right now and don’t be surprised if you are rethinking your level of commitment in relationships of all kinds.
Also on March 6th, the rebellious and innovative energy of Uranus will enter Taurus and move into your ninth house, signaling the start of a long period of learning and spiritual growth to come. Uranus in the ninth house dares you to question long held beliefs and assumptions, to defy oppressive authority figures, and to expand your mind.
Between March 14th and March 20th, Mars in Taurus in your ninth house will then make trines to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn in your fifth house, indicating a period of productivity and success, so long as you are able to put your nose to the grindstone and take care of business, setting aside your own personal needs or desires for the moment. And remember, sometimes the rules work in our favor, and sometimes they don’t, but doing your best work and following your inner code will always bring a sense of inner fulfillment, regardless of the external results.
Then on March 20th, the Sun will pass through the gateway of the Spring Equinox, moving into the sign of Aries and conjoining with Chiron in your eighth house of death and transformation, just as the Full Moon in Libra crosses through your second house of finances and resources, and while Venus makes a square to Mars. You are being offered an opportunity to start fresh and to do some inner healing work, but it will demand that you are ready to let go rather than hold onto old beliefs, especially within the context of your relationships. It may also help to consider this moment like an investment in a healthier future. Remember, that you can’t take anything with you when you leave this world, so why invest in anyone or anything that will only exhaust you or decrease your quality of life while you’re still here'
Finally, between March 24th and April 2nd, Mercury will conjoin Neptune in Pisces in your seventh house, Venus will enter Pisces, and then Mercury will turn direct, conjuncting Neptune one last time. This sequence points to a significant turn of events in your relationships. Eventually the fog will clear, bringing resolution, closure, harmony, and greater understanding after a month of emotionally charged encounters in the house of love.
