This is another exciting monthly period for you, Aries, promising plenty of action, together with the opportunity for making good choices. Outer planet energies in combination with each other, and with your chart, continue to dominate the astrological skies, and indicate that you are still dealing with a major series of transformations. There are a variety of responses that you might attempt. The most healthy would likely be to welcome these changes, no matter how scary, as central to your intended evolution; although you might also be tempted to give in to your urge to postpone anything very radical until you are surer of your ground. This grounding might be difficult to obtain, because there is more illusion and potential deception than ever in the cosmic patterning. Your intuition is quite powerful now, and will serve you well. You win when, by studied effort, and with complete faith in your own values, you decide to put your best foot forward and just forge ahead.
The following was written by this month's guest columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School
The month begins with your ruling planet, Mars, applying pressure from your home sign of Aries to Pluto in Capricorn in your career house, exact on February 2nd. It’s a defining moment for work related projects and career relationships. You’re trying to own your authority in each situation without overpowering others or being overpowered yourself.
At the same time, Venus in Sagittarius in your ninth house of the higher mind is making a trine to Uranus in Aries in your first house, connecting you with meaningful allies, teachers, and liberating wisdom. Considering that Venus is also making a square to Chiron in Pisces in your twelfth house on February 2nd, its likely that the lessons you are learning in your relationships will not only be illuminating and unexpected but also deeply healing and emotional.
On February 3rd, Venus enters Capricorn and brings her emphasis on beauty, grace, relationships, and love into your career house for the rest of the month. It could be that partners will help you with career choices that you might need to make as this climactic month continues to unfold.
On February 4th New Moon in Aquarius falls in your eleventh house of allies, friends, and groups, suggesting that your social network is likely to grow and evolve in the weeks ahead. Because the New Moon aspects both Saturn in your tenth and Neptune in your 12th house, you are being asked to take inner realities as fundamentally important as you move forward with career goals.
Between February 12th and the 13th, your ruling planet, Mars, will then conjoin Uranus in Aries in your home sign, signaling a moment of great activation, assertiveness, and power. You are poised to take a big step forward this month, but it may require breaking out of old patterns or routines to do so.
On February 14th, Valentine’s Day, your ruling planet then enters the sign of Taurus, and your second house, signaling a change of focus to issues related to your time, money, energy, resources, and personal values. This transit will persist into next month, as well.
On February 18th and 19th, Venus will conjoin Saturn in Capricorn – thus in your tenth house of career – bringing a moment of closure or resolution, commitment, and beauty into the work environment. Also on the 18th, Chiron will finally ingress back into your home sign of Aries to stay for the better part of the next decade, bringing an intensely personal time of healing, exploration of the personal and collective unconscious, and the cultivation of your inborn gifts and talents.
Then, on February 19th the Full Moon in Virgo will fall in your sixth house of work, sickness, and service, signaling along with Chiron’s movement into your first house, that you are entering an extended time of personal healing, learning, and possibly even service to others. Mercury will also conjoin Neptune in your twelfth house in the timing of this Full Moon, emphasizing messages and messengers of the unconscious, as well as the need to see every situation in your life from the perspective of greater reflectivity and mindfulness.
On February 22nd, Venus will conjoin with Pluto in your tenth house of career, indicating a moment of upheaval, transformation, and greater depth in your professional life, perhaps especially between yourself and those you work with. Partners might well be involved. A few days later, and for the rest of the month Venus will apply to square Uranus in your first house, bringing themes of independence, innovation, and individuation directly into your workplace and to your relationships, simultaneously.
