Taurus Horoscope for July 2018

You are riding the cosmic rays this month, Taurus, to a conclusion that is essentially unknown but quite likely to be startling. You are taking your foundational beliefs apart to see what makes them tick, in order that you might put them back together in greater alignment with your truest soul intention. Your worldview and its outer expression are in major transition, and you seek equally the sweetness of unique departures and conversely a powerful tendency to preserve the paths of stabilization in effort not to swamp your fragile life raft. Partnership comes into this picture in a mostly positive manner, although one that might also seem quite confusing at first. You find yourself rethinking and revisioning nearly everything about your inner affect and outward motivation, including particularly your relationship dynamic. Your best chance is to ignore the many voices that pull upon you, preferring to look inside yourself for life direction and to trust this interior process over all others.

With two big eclipses coming through this month, the action hasn’t slowed down since Uranus entered your sign in May!

The month gets kick-started on July 5th when Mercury in Leo in your fourth house opposes Mars retrograde in Aquarius in your tenth house, while both planets are simultaneously conjunct the nodes of the Moon. Watch for conflicts surrounding the balance between home life and work life. You may also notice themes of organizing and strategizing for better results at home or at work, as well as themes of communication and confrontation, mental and rational analysis and evaluation, as well as the call to speak your mind or share your assessments or critical thoughts more publicly.

Then, also on July 5th, the Sun in Cancer in your third house will trine Jupiter in Scorpio in your seventh house with Jupiter moving quite slowly, getting ready to turn direct on July 10th. You may notice a positive change of momentum happening in your intimate relationships. Watch for themes of emotional healing, blessings coming to or from those you love, communication that is encouraging and sensitive, and vulnerability that leads to abundance, good luck, and blessings.

On July 9th Mercury in Leo in your fourth house will square Jupiter in Scorpio in your seventh house. You might encounter grand romantic gestures, bold and grandiose statements, exaggeration, lucrative partnering opportunities, and good fortune for both home or domestic matters, and partnerships.

July 12th the Sun opposes Pluto as the New Moon and solar eclipse occurs in Cancer in your third house. This is technically a solar eclipse, even though the nodes will still be in Leo and Aquarius. Expect big changes in relation to your mind and your beliefs, technology and travel, as well as changes of heart or mind that impact how you speak and communicate to the world. It’s also a great time to begin a writing, learning, or teaching project.

July 18th Mars conjoins the South Node of the Moon in Aquarius in your tenth house. All summer long, as Mars retrogrades through your tenth house along with the South Node, you are considering ways to simplify your work life. You may have to cut off someone or something that is no longer working although be careful about burning bridges. This Mars retrograde also provides you with an amazing opportunity to define more of your true calling by severing ties with whatever is frivolous, excessive, or no longer in alignment with your values.

On July 24th, Venus will oppose Neptune across your eleventh and fifth house axis. You might be basking in the glow of a time of creative fulfillment, or you might find yourself longing for something intangible. Watch for themes of romantic delusion or delight, erotic, sexual, romantic, or artistic revelry or unhealthy intoxication, as well as creative collaboration and inspired performance or creativity.

Finally, on July 27th the Sun in Leo opposes Mars in Aquarius at the time of a Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius, across your 4th and 10th house axis, while both are square to Uranus in Taurus in your first house. Again, we see big changes for you related to your career and your self-definition. As family or home life is changing, your work and calling in the world is changing in response, and vice versa. You may also notice themes of personal health or self-care coming up right now, and these challenges or changes might be intimately related to the changes you are feeling inspired to make at work or at home. Since Uranus entered Taurus in May, you have been called to change your pre-existing status quo and to awaken to a new sense of self and purpose in the world. This eclipse may force the issue, especially if you’re not already actively working toward the changes you know you need to make. Remember that ultimately you are the only one who can lead your own inner bull to the soothing waters of healing and transformation!
