Sagittarius Horoscope for March 2018

Posted on February 27, 2018 by Henry Seltzer of ASTROGRAPH.COM

You are in for an active and fundamentally optimistic month, Sagittarius, one in which you continue to find much of the gold that you are searching for beneath the surface layers of your personality. An interesting dance of self and other yields surprising results that are entirely positive and enlightening, once you are able to look at them right. Communication is one key; striving for the perfection of your transmission is not as important as getting your point across while also being receptive to the messages coming the other way. Once Mercury begins its retrograde after the 22nd, you are entering into a more meditative space and reflecting on your prospective life path, as well as your evolving values that have gotten you this far. All month long, your creativity is high, and spontaneous, with many possible ends in sight. You are however being distinctly aimed toward only those that truly satisfy your soul.

The following was written by this month's guest columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School

The month of March begins with a Full Moon in your tenth house of career and reputation. It’s a great time for completing projects, earning promotions or advancement, or really being seen and recognized in the workplace. However, Full Moons sometimes bring a fair dose of intensity so don’t be surprised if there is a little drama in the office to start the month.

On March 4th the Sun and Neptune conjoin in Pisces, therefore in your fourth house, while Mercury and Venus also conjoin in Pisces. A stellium of planets in the house of home and family indicates that the tension between work life and domestic life could be quite intense right now. Your personality is one of natural enthusiasm, but the sign of Pisces also requires that you slow down and tune into the subtler emotional realities of home and family right now.

Late March 5th into early March 6th Mercury will cross into Aries and on March 6th Venus will also enter Aries, both thus moving into your fifth house of children, joy, and creativity. It’s a wonderful time for self-expression and creativity but remember that you can easily go too far and put your foot in your mouth with this transit. You will likely experience a strong need to speak your mind and to make bold and aggressive declarations. If you have children, it’s normal for your children to be speaking out right now or for your relationship with your children to be more challenging and intense, overall.

Between late in the evening of March 10th through March 13th Mercury and Venus in Aries in your fifth house will be moving through square aspects to Saturn in Capricorn in your second house. Having fun could come with an expensive price tag. Be careful not to overindulge to the point of going into debt, but on the other hand don’t let an overly cautious or conservative mindset hold you back from your need to be creative. It’s also important to teach your children the importance of saving and preserving money from an early age. Kids can also cost a lot of money, so don’t be surprised if you’re being asked to foot their bills right now.

On March 17th the Pisces New Moon, in your fourth house, gives you fresh vitality and interest in working things out on the home front. This is a great time to remodel, or to feather your nest with new decor improvements. It could also be that your family will be on your mind, or needing your attention. Also, this same day, Mars enters Capricorn and moves into your second house, marking a period of hard work that may blossom into financial or material rewards in due time. This is an incredibly productive transit, but be careful not to overdo things or to exhaust yourself in the process!

March 20th marks the Spring Equinox, at which time the Sun goes into Aries and moves into your fifth house, signaling the dawning of the light half of the year. The Sun is exalted in Aries, and hence the advent of Spring is catalyzing you to make big changes. The Sun in the fifth house invites you to express yourself, to perform, to play, and to create. Just remember, ancient astrologers said that all the joy and pleasure of the fifth house is only temporary, so make sure to aim your arrow at the target of those activities that also enlighten yourself and others in the process!

Next, on March 23rd, Venus in Aries in your fifth house squares Pluto in Capricorn in your second, while Mercury also turns retrograde in Aries in your fifth house. You may need to adjust or rethink something right now. A true creative process always requires us to be flexible. Now and over the next three to five weeks, you will be on an inner exploration of what your creativity truly means to you. Be the vehicle for the art rather than its controller. It’s also a powerful moment for finances. Don’t be surprised if your financial philosophy is changing right now or if you are managing unexpected expenses or a surprise windfall.

On March 28th Venus briefly conjoins Uranus in Aries in your fifth house. Here we see the planet of love and relationships conjoin with the planet of the rebel and the innovator in the house of joy, creativity, and children. Don’t be surprised if you’re called to think outside of the box or to come up with innovative solutions to complex creative challenges or relationship demands. Also don’t be surprised if your inner rebel or child needs to act out, or if your own children are discovering their own inner rebel!

Finally, on March 31st it’s a Full Moon in Libra in your eleventh house of friends, groups, and allies. It’s a great time to get out with the people you love or to participate in the groups you belong to. Nobody is perfect, and no group is perfect, either. Though you are naturally faithful and passionate, it’s important to be diplomatic right now; this will likely yield good results in the long run.
