This is a productive and transformative time for you, Aquarius, furthering the inner quest that you have been on for some time now, leading you to more and better knowledge of yourself and your world. You have in recent months been putting yourself out there in earnest communicative advances that articulate your deepest soul-level values. Your curiosity is unmatched to explore every available facet of inner and outer knowingness, in the brave attempt to totally reformulate your beliefs and worldview, and this month that exploration takes a turn to the inside. Based on what is going on in that vast hidden landscape within you, below the surface layers of your personality, you are seeking to discover the underlying basis for your social interaction and prospective plans, seeking to be in greater alignment with all that you hold inside. The likelihood for eventual movement is there, providing that you are coming at your project with the utmost sincerity.

The following was written by this month's guest columnist Adam Elenbaas of The Nightlight Astrology School:

It’s a big year for Aquarians. Jupiter in Scorpio is in your tenth house until November of 2019. This month Jupiter in Scorpio will make a trine to Neptune in Pisces in your second house to start the month. Mercury will conjoin with Saturn in Sagittarius in your eleventh house, just as Mercury turns retrograde, and finally Mars in Libra in your ninth house will oppose Uranus in Aries in your third house. All of these transits are happening at the very beginning of the month, toning the entire month. Let’s take a look at each transit, in depth.

Jupiter in Scorpio in your tenth house will make a trine to Neptune in Pisces in your second house. The tenth house is the house of public reputation, authority, calling, career, mastery, and achievement, and the second house is traditionally the house of money, finances, resources, diet, appetite, earning power or potential, possessions or things that a person might own or be in possession of. Here’s what to watch for:

  • Growth in career
  • Raises, promotion
  • Big expenses, purchases
  • A public form of recognition or accomplishment
  • A new job opportunity
  • People in power or authority offering to help
  • A renewal or restoral of faith or hope
  • Optimism about the future
  • An opportunity that is overstated or not all that it is cracked up to be
  • A windfall, making a good deal, selling or giving something to a good/public cause
  • Relief from financial stress or pressure
  • Issues related to the earth or environment
  • A spiritual transformation of material circumstances
  • An investment of time, energy, and resources paying off
  • Pride, arrogance, and vanity related to money, power, and work
  • Being in the right place at the right time

Mercury will conjoin with Saturn in Sagittarius in your eleventh house, just as Mercury turns retrograde. The eleventh house is the house of friends, wishes and hopes for the future, allies, and benefactors. Here’s what to watch for:

  • Changes to existing friendships
  • The support of friends and benefactors changing
  • Alliances or collaborations changing or being renegotiated
  • Hopes and dreams for the future being revised or released
  • Future commitments being solidified
  • Philosophical, moral, or spiritual disagreement or debate among friends or within groups
  • Grants, government loans, financial assistance from people in power
  • The end of an era, the end of a dream
  • Tempering expectations
  • News, gossip, announcements, and important changes from friends or in groups
  • Changes of group policy, belief, or strategy
  • Issues or challenges with technology, transit, or travel
  • Abandoning or leaving a form of technology, all together
  • Exciting changes related to transit, travel, or technology
  • Dogma and fundamentalism
  • How much are you are willing to compromise your beliefs in order to work with others or vice versa'
  • Generational conversations and exchange
  • Teachers, wisdom, learning, and communication as major themes

And finally, Mars in Libra in your ninth house will oppose Uranus in Aries in your third house. The ninth house is the house of religion, spirituality, beliefs, long journeys, the law, and higher education, and the third house is traditionally related to siblings, neighbors, short journeys, memory, messengers, writers, communication, media, etc. Here’s what to watch for:

  • The fight over beliefs
  • Legal debacles
  • A transformation of personal values
  • Fierce debate
  • Confrontations with siblings or cousins
  • Adventurous journeys
  • Academic achievements
  • Classroom debates
  • An evangelical or passionate message or messenger
  • Spiritual breakthroughs or aha moments
  • Being called out for being too harsh or severe
  • Defending or advocating for someone or something
  • Challenges related to travel
  • Inventive writing, thinking, speaking
  • Rebellious attitudes
  • Peace and compromise vs radical defiance

For Aquarians it is truly a month that features the intensity of your convictions or the convictions of others in your life. Remember, even though Jupiter is in your tenth house this year, and you may feel quite empowered right now, pride comes before a fall. Temper your intensity with cheerfulness, patience, and good humor, and this month should be very exciting!
