This is month of continuing surprises, Aries, in many different areas of your life, with unexpected gains. You have made it through a relatively tough spring. Your ruler, Mars, is out of retrograde, indicating definite adjustments that come with this summer timing. There are likely to be disappointments in some areas, in particular those places where you have allowed your imagination to get the better of you, mentally going too far, too fast. Disillusionment is one keyword for what these summer months could bring. While your energy is still strongly cooking away, your projects, rather than being couched in terms of dry ideas, might take you to deeper emotional levels. There are important and rewarding opportunities now to get to know yourself even better along the alleyways of the darkly hidden regions of your psyche, below and beyond the level of your conscious thought process.
As the month begins, you are still feeling the shift from the recent station of your ruler, Mars, to direct motion, just two days before the advent of the current month. This standing still in the sky of the Red Planet, in his own sign of Scorpio, makes him far more powerful in his effects. This can also be conveniently witnessed by the naked eye, at least in the United States, by viewing the night sky in the early evening — or a few hours later on the East Coast — where you can see how bright he has grown. By the close of the first weekend of July, Mars also makes a Grand Trine with Venus in Cancer and Chiron in Pisces, all Water signs, as an indication of your emotional depths rising up to meet you. You are likely preoccupied with your feelings especially during this early portion of the month, and, indeed, for the next thirty days as well, because this chart factor is also present in the New Moon taking place in the early hours of Monday, July 4th.
Over the remainder of this monthly cycle as well, there are other powerful indications, stimulated at the timing of this New Moon, such as the potent Uranus- Eris conjunction in your sign, and the well-nigh perfect square of Saturn and Neptune, symbolizing antithetical energies of restriction and limitation, on the one hand, and lack of any boundAries whatsoever on the other. It is possible that there are places in your life where you might be forced to recognize flights of fancy that never really got off the ground and now must be abandoned, as you strike out for a more realistic pose. On the other hand it is also possible that some of these in particular might prove to be sea-worthy, just far more difficult to accomplish in the details of working itself out in real-world terms than you ever would have thought. Considering the Uranus- Eris conjunction, you are likely to be a good cheerleader for yourself and for those changes in attitude that might yet serve you, once you can confirm their ultimate alignment with your deepest intention for yourself, moving forward.
