This week is the prime time of Venus in Gemini. Probably everyone is talking about this phenomenon (whether they recognize the astrology behind it or not). Last weekend's New Moon in the same degree with her airy artistic relationship orientation was followed two days later by the exact conjunction between the Sun and Venus in the mentally oriented realms of Gemini. These two will remain over this entire week also in close parallel, thus adding another layer of amplification.
With this combination, there is light shining on issues of connection, self worth & vitality, as well as anything concerning the material realms, such as finance. There is a multifaceted nature of perspective where Gemini is concerned, so that you could be seeing things from many different angles. This aspect is joyful, light and whimsical, and you will have much satisfaction in comradeship and profound relating, although there is a serious side to our relationship energy as well with Pluto also involved.
Things are not strictly light and gay due to the deeply transformative presence of Pluto in Capricorn, who is also making himself known — in an almost exact inconjunct aspect to the Sun and Venus. This brings us into contact with those places within us that have yet to come into alignment or integration with our highest good, especially in the areas of life that Venus governs — connection, values, self-worth, materiality— in fact wherever we can find facets of ourselves that are in need of regeneration, and transformation, therefore requiring us to take more personal responsibility. This first week of a dynamic Gemini New Moon is a good week to reflect upon what you value in yourself and how your life is evolving and shifting.
Due to the nature of this time period as conversational and mentally connecting, journaling and conversing with others around these matters will likely be helpful.
