This weekend is another prominent time of Venus transit, representing relationship changes, as she travels through Virgo: in the earliest hours of yesterday, Friday, she made an exact trine to Pluto in Capricorn, and she comes on Sunday to an exact conjunction with Jupiter. You might experience this as a purification and cutting away of that which no longer fits, or needs to be transformed. Stepping back for a look at a longer span, your relationship dynamic is indeed being rebirthed as something fresh and new over an extended period; and with this newness comes also an enhanced sense of stability. Over the preceding summer there have been challenges and eye-opening revelations, for many, around issues of partnering, values, and self worth. In late August, Venus made her Heliacal Rise in Leo, completing her transition to the Morning Star, and thus beginning a new 584-day synodic cycle. This entire period carries a Leo theme for the feminine Venus archetype to the end of the year and covering all of 2016. This implies that the qualities of Venus — beauty, connection, relationship, and the principles to which we most deeply aspire — combine with the outspoken, proud, and vibrant qualities of Leo.
Whether it is in the realms of relating, or material abundance, or the health and well-being of our physical forms, the touch of Pluto on this proud version of Venus, for this weekend period, has the affect upon us all of deep transformation and potential regeneration. After all that has transpired in the late summer and fall months, it is time to glean the lessons learned. You might find yourself adding up your losses (and your blessings!), in order that you carry on, within your relationship dynamic, in a fresh way, that emphasizes that which really counts for your deepest soul intention.
There is not much room left for fluff in this equation. The seriousness implied by Venus-Saturn, and the spiritual commitment and positivity implied by Venus-Jupiter, bring the opportunity for higher learning and re-structuring of the way that you operate in terms of your interaction with the physical world and with important others. A beneficial ritual to adopt in this time might be to hold in your awareness the deep places within you that require further change and transformation, while simultaneously envisioning yourself in supremely optimal circumstances. This invokes the presence of your higher Self, and of your most cherished forward-looking goals, while honoring what you are going through, both physically and emotionally. It may feel like the gap between these two parts of yourself is large, that your existing struggle is incompatible with your lofty vision. Yet each forms an intrinsic part of your whole entire being and deserves to be experienced as it really is. This practice, of enlarging your vision and combining your depths, might prove to be very helpful and healing.
In regard to ongoing health and well-being, another aspect to consider for this weekend is that Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is located in Pisces opposite Mars in Virgo, and just a few degrees away from opposition to Venus and Jupiter in this sign. These powerful aspects speak to the application of one's intention, throughout daily life, in service to deeper (and hidden) currents of healing potential. There is therefore great opportunity now to step out of the places where we feel hurt or victimized, by understanding that we are actually in full choice in our lives. The signals to look for include any situation whereby an event feels triggering or emotionally loaded; instead of avoiding it, fighting it, or becoming paralyzed by it, you win when you rather meet it, with courage and curiosity. When you can look beneath the surface of your personality, and feel into the deep interconnectedness of all things, meditating on the innate and infinite wisdom of it all, then deeper trust in the process of life becomes available to you. This takes tremendous strength of willpower and insight, plus the bravery to claim each circumstance of your life as something that is perfect for you; and this is so whether glorious, or excruciating, or anything in between. These very circumstances are providing us with the exact lessons we need, and in this timing, to grow and evolve as the beings that we were all along meant to become.
