This is an interesting, intense and introspective month for you, Cancer. Even while your outer world presence is going through its own dramatic evolution, at times rapidly, you are very much drawn to the inside. You are delving into important issues of security and nesting while also exploring your beliefs, and those ideals that you most profoundly espouse in pursuing a path to greater integration and wholeness. Inner wounding is also likely to come up, in a novel manner that gives you a better chance to bring to greater consciousness hidden factors of your personality, likely based on early trauma, that you can now perceive as inhibiting your growth. As you deal with these difficult yet timely issues, partnership considerations are paramount. Along with your basic way of showing up in the world, your patterns of relationship connection are irrevocably changing.
As the month begins, you are just coming off the powerfully transformative energy of two eclipses, the first of which, in mid-September, initiated the present lunar cycle that is still working itself out in these first eleven days of the current month, and the second of which, the lunar eclipse and Full Moon of a few days past, stimulated your creativity, and your dedication to making something happen in the world at large that is in greater alignment with a mission of service to others around you. A spiritual impulse of higher-mind orientation is emerging. In addition, because the solar eclipse directly opposed Chiron, the Wounded Healer, it is possible that your understanding regarding where you were wounded in the past, and may yet heal, will enter a new qualitative stage. You are also transforming in the way that you regard your life purpose, and in your relationship with significant persons in your life, a years-long process that gets an extra boost from this current cycle.
It is also important to note that your career choices are subject to sudden changes in direction, as unforeseen happenings and spontaneous inspiration takes you over. This is in accord with the highlighted presence, for this entire month, of trickster Uranus in your tenth solar sector; and this is a also source of unexpected enlightenment. It was in honor of this energy that Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter wrote that, "Once in a while you can get shown the light/ In the strangest of places if you look at it right."
