Taurus (April 20 - May 20) Fixed Earth. Your ruling planet is Venus.

This is the first month of the rest of your life, Taurus, in case you didn't know. The call of service to the greater collective that surrounds you has become profound, and along with it the chance to work one-on-one with helpful partners. Right from the very beginning of November you are seeing the future differently these days, with more sharing and more caring. Perspective shifts are major for you right now, and lead you to question everything that has gone before, but in a good way. The edifice you are building upon the wreckage of the old will be longer-lasting and make for a greater level of happiness, so why not jump on in? The only thing that you have to lose is your chains.

As the month begins, you are embodying service to others in an entirely new way, and investing time in facets of partnership that were previously unexplored. You are not just there for others for the sake of others, but also for yourself, and it is important to recognize the distinction. You continue to dig your own garden, and this is of ultimate importance for you, but it is at least partly through the agency of others that you must accomplish this task right now. The Full Moon that begins the first week of the month, and that takes place on Monday, November 2nd, helps you to maintain this balancing act between self and other as you look ahead to the future and open up to new perspectives for yourself going forward. This is a wild and creative time for you, one that you will come to regard in future days as the crux of a turning point, both for yourself and for the surrounding culture. You are pulled this way and that but your track is steadily trending toward a distant goal that is now much more clearly perceived by your inner soul. Things might still appear confusing from the standpoint of your outer, more logical and thinking self. Confusion is almost expected in these circumstances; this speaks to the essentially illogical nature of the cosmos which works as the bible says, "in mysterious ways." With the advent of the Last Quarter Moon of the following week, on Monday, November 9th, you are coming to a new understanding, since you have the distinct possibility at this time of recognizing what simply does not work along with what does. You are coming, through the school of hard knocks, to the wisdom to discern the difference – so that there is both a gain and a loss involved with these realizations. The New Moon of Monday, November 16th, represents a fresh start in both partnering and self-realization. This is the time when you perhaps most fully recognize how your life and progress are bound up with that of significant others in your life, and how the gains that you now make are actually a species of joint triumph and a shared joy. Over the remaining two weeks of the month there is the distinct possibility of tension and crossed purposes, but you are likely to find these challenges productive of greater insight. You have the determination right now to expand your perspective to include the largest possible picture. From the standpoint of the cosmos, everything is very much on track no matter how it might appear in the deceivingly ephemeral present moment.
